How to ask

1. Email hello@nookaspace.com with the subject “Delete my Nooka account”. Send it from the email address on your account, or include the mobile number you sign in with.
2. We may ask you to confirm it’s you, for example with a code sent to your mobile number, so nobody else can delete your account.
3. We delete your account within 30 days and email you when it’s done.

Before you ask

• Upcoming bookings are cancelled when your account is deleted, and refunded as set out in our terms and conditions.
• Your rewards balance is lost, so use it on a booking first if you’d like to.
• If a payment needs our attention, we’ll sort it out with you before we delete your account.

What we delete

• Your name, email address and mobile number, and your account itself, so you can no longer sign in.
• Your saved cards. We also ask Paystack to stop them from being charged again.
• Your rewards balance and history.
• Messages you sent our support team, unless we still need them to resolve an open issue.

What we keep, and for how long

The law requires us to keep some records after your account is deleted. We remove your name and contact details from them and keep them only as long as we must:

• Bookings and payments: five years after the transaction, as South African tax law requires.
• Pod unlock and lock records: up to 12 months, then deleted.

Our privacy policy explains in full what we collect, why and your other rights. If you only want to stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them; you don’t need to delete your account.
